Pipe Organ
On Sunday, April 20, 2008, our church dedicated our rebuilt Pilcher Organ to the Lord. During the dedication, we committed to us this instrument in various ways. Our pastor read the following: "We dedicate this organ as an instrument of holy service in worship, in choral and congregational singing, in comfort for the bereaved, in jubilation for the newly-wed, in thanksgiving and joy, and for the evangelization of the world." Affiring these words, our congregation responded, "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth, and things under the earth, that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father." We are very blessed at FBC to have the equivalent of a two manual, 54, stop, 22 rank pipe organ. I hope that we will always use it as an instrument of praise for the glory of God alone.
Shouting for Joy!
